As a crafter myself I know that it takes hours of hard work to create quality handmade crafts. This website was developed to provide a place for crafters to sell their work online without the hassle of maintaining & marketing their own website.

Craft shows can be expensive and run for a limited time. If want to sell your crafts online, but don't want the hassle of maintaining your own site, then you have come to the right place. We do regional and national advertising in addtion to a great deal of marketing research to get targeted customers to visit your products on HandmadeCatalog.

How it Works

Fill out the form below to begin the process. Your userid and password will be given to you later in the sign-up process. You can then login to provide us your product information and make changes whenever you want. When a customer purchases one of your items we will send you an email with the customer information and their order. Customer orders must be shipped within 14 business days.

Basic

Standard

- $7.95 per month or $60.00 per year
- List up to 250 items
- HandmadeCatalog takes 10% commission from each item sold
- List up to 3 items per year on the main page

Professional

- $12.95 per month or $100.00 per year
- Your Own Business Webpage Address, ie: www.handmadecatalog.com/mystore
- Your Business Name on our List of Crafters
- List up to 1200 items
- HandmadeCatalog takes 5% commission from each item sold
- List up to 5 items per year on the main page

How much does it cost to sell on HandmadeCatalog.com?

There are no hidden fees or charges. Pro Membership is $12.95 per month or $100.00 per year and is the best value, Standard Membership is $7.95 per month or $60.00 per year and there is a Basic Membership for $4.95 per month or $40.00 per year. When an item is sold there is a sales fee that is a percentage of the item price as indicated in the chart above.

Each month we list 6 items on the front page of HandmadeCatalog. These are considered featured items. Standard Members can list 3 items (one per month) and Pro Members can list 5 items one per month) per year.

Yes, if for any reason you need to cancel your Pro Membership all you need to do is send us an email. Your account will automatically be closed at the end of the month.

HandmadeCatalog pays crafters IN ADVANCE OF SHIPPING THE ORDER by check with US funds or by PayPal straight into your account.

HandmadeCatalog receives an order and payment from a customer, we email the crafter of what items to ship and where, the crafter informs HandmadeCatalog they can fill the order, payment is made to the crafter prior to shipping, then the crafter ships the order and informs HandmadeCatalog, we then inform the customer that their items were shipped.

You will need to enter a specific amount for shipping your item if you choose to have the buyer pay for the shipping. This amount should be enough to cover a shipment of your craft for the continental United States (our primary customer base). You can include options and instructions for the buyer in your item's description if you want to provide different shipping costs and methods. You may also to choose to offer free shipping. Mention this in the desripition area of your item to help your buyer confirm that shipping is free of charge.
