My name is Jean-Marie and I started Daisycakes Soap™, LLC in 1999 in New Orleans & Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Now based in Miami, the business has grown with family help, and our soaps can be found at festivals throughout Florida & the southeast and in shops throughout the US! Wholesale inquires are welcome! Every package we send comes with free USPS Delivery Confirmation (domestic) & a free sample! Daisycakes are still hand-stirred in small batches with the freshest, simplest ingredients to ensure quality. Every bar is made in a pet-free, smoke-free work place. Every batch is pH tested before sale. Fresh olive, coconut, palm, rice bran, caster, soy, & jojoba oils are the oils we work with to make our velvety soap bases. Many soap varieties are vegan-friendly, as are many of our lip balms. No animal fats, cheap filler oil, or synthetic preservatives are *ever* used in our cold process bars! Only pure, natural colorants & essentials oil go into the soaps into our Natural Soap line. Vitamin E is used in our cold process soaps & balms as a powerful antioxidant. Please keep in mind that products made without synthetic preservatives have a shorter shelf life. We recommend you keep items in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. Natural products need a little extra TLC! They are best used within the first year of purchase. When in use, we recommend using a soap dish that allows air to fully circulate around every surface of the bar for complete drying. In 2007, we did more extensive market research for the gentlest glycerin base soap we could find. We tested over a dozen varieties, and were thrilled to find one we love! It is a mild, vegetable oil-based. detergent-free soap that holds onto scent beautifully! Please take into consideration your own allergies and skin sensitivities when using new soap. We think/hope you'll leave commercial bars behind when you try our handmade bars, but some natural essential oils, such as cinnamon, lemongrass or rosemary could irritate sensitive skin. Patch testing on a small area of skin before showering is always a good idea.
