I've used a dark brown for the outline stitching; black for God Bless Teachers, maroon for the apples and corner hearts, dark country blue for ABC and 123 and a few of the crayons; and green for the leaves and several crayons. The handmade frame is approximately 8 x 8 inches and has been painted a dark chocolate cherry color which compliments the colors used in the stitching and then the frame has been sanded to add to the aged look of the picture.
