Each scale was individually sculpted, some with a red backing and a gold center piece, some with a red backing and a black center piece. The sculpture took almost two weeks to complete and depicts a dragon just landing on his nest with more jewels for his hoard. I've used glass beads for the jewels and plastic palm fronds for the nest. The base is a rock covered with black embossing powder. I've glued felt to the bottom to make it safe for all surfaces. This one of a kind dragon would make a great addition to anyone's fantasy collection.
